happiness on-the-spots

Hehehe this is an old post that I forgot to send.

new variant of trekking had done in the Viewture-Village trek Sunday, November 2, 2008.
The purpose was to promote alternative energy knowledge thru learning by doing, celebrating life and friendship, respect nature and 'agri-culture'.

We started in the morning under the cloudy day. But with bright spirits ;-)
The kids dividing the loads, and share it and carry it in their backpack. [this is the way we promoting team work to them], some kids brought accu (12V/10A from the e-bike), one kid brought inverter, the others brought juicer, heater, cables, AVO meter... also ice. Wondering why?

We will help them to learn right on-the-spot!
The trek was already familiar to them, since we've done it several times, only with small trimming to see new views.

We had some friends joined: Agus Wes of Greenpeace, Ngurah (pak Choco), Putu, Gus Arik andhis dougther and nephew, of course Bogels and Mesums guys, and Connie and Anna of VECO.

When we are ready to start, a short briefing given to the kids.
The first target was the papaya farming spot.
On the location the boys buy some papaya from the farmer, while we help the kids to learn about electricity. What is plus, minus, positive and negative poles, parallel link, stepping up, and connect it all together with a juicer as a load. They tried it. Do it. and rrrrrrrr the juicer was on ;-) we put the papaya and ice and we got the FRESHEST papaya juice right-on-the-spot.

The second spot was cucumber farm, then choco farm. You know what? Agus Wes was coming up with a surprising new blend: CHOCUMBER ;-)
The kids was repeating the set up of the accu and inverter and the juicer -because the kid who brought the heater was left behind.. maybe he ways enjoying another thing-, and all the participants were happy with the taste

forty and happy ;-)

The Gregorian calendar system finally touched the October 29, 2008.
Maybe just an ordinary day, but I counted it as a special one, since my mother was giving me a birth 40 years ago ;-) Thanks Ibu, Thanks Bapak in heaven, Thanks for all ancestors before me, and God for the life I live, and the love and laugh I experienced. The sadness that made me respect this life, the problems that made me stronger..., Thanks for all friends, even peoples that I don't know who did their part in this great system on this fantastic world.

Special thanks to the yo
uth and kids of my kampong who set up a simple but nice party to celebrate life at Roemah Kayon. Candles, black forest cake, jokes and smiles, songs and photographs in a cold evening after the rain.

Some says that life begins at forty ;-)

Reusing the WOODBALL laminated wood letters into BALIWOOD text for fun photograph. it looks great in the evening with candle lights ;-) so, if Hollywood is in California, BALIWOOD is in BALIFORNIA hahahaha.

>am so sorry, never have enuff time to upload my moffice-mobiliving story ;-) but the idea to use the old combi volkswagen to open the eyes and mind of the folks is rolling and rolling..
